Greeting an oil

Open the selected bottle of oil at the navel. Slowly bring the bottle upwards as the scent gets stronger closer to the nose. Gently pass the bottle back and forth under the nose, inhaling very lightly. Never inhale deeply with oil beneath your nose or it will overwhelm the sense.

Applying an Oil

Never touch the top of the bottle with the body; this contaminates oil. Let one or two drops of oil drip out of the bottle into the palm. Then stir the oil clock-wise in the palm three times and apply it to the body with the fingertips. Oils may also be applied to the feet on reflexology points. Oils may also be used in massage or before chiropractic adjustments to improve results.

Introduction to Essential Oils

Essential oils are subtle, volatile liquids distilled from plants, shrubs, flowers, trees, roots, bushes, seeds, and animals. Essential oils can have profound effect on the body in as little as 3 seconds. Because of the chemical structure of oils, they are capable of being metabolized by the cells just as other nutrients, and their oxidizing effects are very helpful in healing oxygen-free radical damage and other oxygen depletion problems.

The olfactory membranes have over 800 million nerve endings for the detection and processing of odors, and are preprogrammed form birth with ever scent the brain is capable of recognizing. The olfactory sense communicates directly with the pituitary and the pineal glands, as well as the amygdala, which is the memory center of the brain, especially for fear and trauma. In this way, the scents of Essential Oils are capable of having profound effects on emotional conditions associated with memories and trauma, making oils a very powerful tool for accessing emotions that are difficult to access other-wise.

Essential oils were mankind's first medicine From Egyptian hieroglyphics and Chinese manuscripts; we know that priests and physicians have been using essential oils for thousands of years. There are 188 references to essential oils in the bible.

Benefits of pure essential oils

Essential oils are the regenerating, oxygenating, and immune defense properties of plants.

Essential oils are so small in molecular size that they can penetrate the tissues of the skin. They can affect every cell of the body within 20 minutes and are then metabolized like other nutrients. By providing the needed oxygen, essential oils also work to stimulate the immune system. They are very powerful antioxidants. Antioxidants create an unfriendly environment for free radicals.

Essential oils have been shown to destroy all tested bacteria and viruses while simultaneously restoring balance to the body.

Essential oils containing sesquiterpenes have the ability to pass the blood brain barrier.

Essential oils help promote emotional, physical, and spiritual healing. They have a bio-electrical frequency that is several times greater than the frequency of herbs, food, and even the human body. Clinical research has shown that oils can quickly raise the frequency of the human body, restoring it to its normal healthy level.
