The History of cleansing
Cleansing and detoxing is the oldest and most dependable medicine for the human body. It has described in practically every sacred scripture, from the Bible and the Torah to the Vedas, and has been prescribed in all the ancient medical textbooks. Hippocrates called it, quite simply, "the best medicine". Dr. Bernard Jensen says, " The road to health begins with the understanding and commitment to cleanse and detoxify the body: to restore balance, peace and harmony."
What can be cleansed?
You can cleanse any organ or system in the body. Systems and organs that one might focus on when cleansing include the digestive, respiratory, and lymph systems, as well as the liver, gallbladder, nerves, spleen, skin, kidneys, lungs, and intestines. Cleanses can kill fungi and other parasites, expel mucus, reduce yeast, remove heavy metals, balance the emotions, and clear the body's natural energy centers.
Candida Albicans - Yeast
Candidiasis is believed to be major contributing factors to the cause of many conditions: chronic fatigue, immune weakness, allergies, and cellular degeneration. In this weakened state on is more vulnerable to other pathogens such as pollutants in food and air, or environmental radiation damage. These pollutants all contribute to a weakening and breaking down of bodily systems, which makes it easier for harmful micro-organisms to flourish. The end result of this cycle is a suffering of a wide range of symptoms: food allergies, digestive problems, skin conditions, chronic exhaustion, and other degenerative conditions.
Candida infects the body by covering the intestinal wall; from there it takes first pass at a food passing through the digestive tract, giving the body great difficulty in the digestion and assimilation of food nutrients. Many people infected with Candida have severe health problems due to the lack of nutrition absorbed into their body from their food. Many people have lost as much as half the nutrition in their food to the Candida in their body. It creates chaos in the intestines and often causes diseases for which many doctors have little or no answer about. Anti-fungal medications can be dangerous and increase problems, as repressing the fungus makes it stronger, so that it will often relapse as a much more serious condition than it began. By using natural methods that aid the body's immune system in removing yeast, the offending Candida is killed and regrowth is prevented.

Parasites
Intestinal parasites range from microscopic bacteria to worms that are many feet long. Contamination usually occurs through eggs and larvae passed into the body via food, water or even simple contact with another person's animal. Water that has not been boiled or purified is a very common method of contamination. Unwashed, uncooked fruits and vegetables are high-risk, as are rare or raw meat and fish. Parasites are found in their highest concentrations in commercial pork products such as bacon, ham, hot dogs, pork chops, and roasts. Beef, chicken, lamb, and even fish can be sources of parasites. Sushi from many parts of the world contains the larvae of several species of parasitic worms. Commercial meat cows often have parasites deeply embedded in all of their organs and tissues.
When parasites are prevalent in the body, it is very important to avoid foods that stimulate parasite growth. Many foods encourage parasite growth, and it can be difficult to tell which do and do not. The most important aspects of parasite cleansing is a healthy diet. Any artificial product weakens the body and promotes parasite growth; these include sweeteners, additives, preservatives, sugar, chemical coloring, alcohol, and caffeine. These must be critically avoided. Many glutenous grains including wheat, barley, oats, rye, spelt, amaranth, millet and kamut are not good when trying to expunge parasites. Dairy products, eggs, and all meats should be avoided.
Although many foods promote parasite growth and should be avoided when cleansing, many other foods are very good for this. Foods high are carotene is recommended, including: sweet potatoes, carrots, spinach, cantaloupe, kale and squash. Also recommended are rice products, high vitamin-C and anti-oxidant rich foods such as citrus fruits, broccoli, strawberries, melons, and brussels sprouts. Fresh and dried fruits are good, and soy, rice or almond milk are excellent alternatives to dairy products.
